Shigure Soen Ryu (時雨蒼燕流, Shigure Souen Ryū ?, lit. Shower in Late Fall, Blue Swallow Style) is a dynamic sword fine art that increases incrementally as it is passed from master to student. The Shigure Soen Ryu originated from i man. Similar a family unit tree, the technique grew every bit it was passed downward. However, as new forms were created, the weaker branches deteriorate, and others disappear as there is no worthy successor; hence, this style can be chosen the perfect, flawless style.

The Shigure Soen Ryu taught to Takeshi consists of viii forms — four defensive (守式, shūshiki ?) forms and four offensive (攻式, koushiki ?) forms.
1st form: Shajiku no Ame [ ]
Shajiku no Ame (車軸の雨, Shajiku no Ame ?, lit. Axle of rain) is the first offensive form of the Shigure Soen Ryu. The user coats the katana with Rain Flames while charging forward. The user then thrusts the katana to impale the target.[1]
Takeshi Yamamoto used this alongside Rondine di Pioggia confronting Genkishi.
2d grade: Sakamaku Ame [ ]
Sakamaku Ame (逆巻く雨, Sakamaku Ame ?, lit. Rolling rain) is the defensive 2nd form of the Shigure Soen Ryu. The user creates multiple waves of water around him and crouches whilst holding his sword vertically earlier himself as a method of defense.[2] [iii]
Takeshi Yamamoto used this confronting Superbia Squalo in the Rain Band Battle. Takeshi obscures his body with a wall of water, while at the same time defending information technology with a contraction.
third form: Yarazu no Ame [ ]
Yarazu no Ame (遣らずの雨, Yarazu no Ame ?, lit. Concluding infinitesimal rain) is the offensive third grade of the Shigure Soen Ryu. The user drops the Shigure Kintoki, kicking the base of operations of the hilt with his foot to send it propelling towards the intended target.[four]
Takeshi Yamamoto used this to catch both Belphegor and Mammon off-guard. Takeshi drops the katana, kicking information technology with his foot, to send it flying in a stab.

4th grade: Gofuu Juuu [ ]
Gofuu Juuu (五風十雨, Gofū Jūu ?, lit. Windy one time every v days, rainy once every ten days (a yojijukugo meaning favorable weather)) is the fourth defensive form of the Shigure Soen Ryu. The user synchronizes with their enemy's animate to evade their attacks at high speed.[5] [6]
Takeshi synchronizes with his opponent's breathing to evade attacks. When Takeshi Yamamoto used this against Genkishi, he also used his three short blades to fly at high speed and most disappear from sight.
fifth grade: Samidare [ ]

Samidare (五月雨, Samidare ?, lit. Early summer rain) is the offensive fifth stance of the Shigure Soen Ryu. The user holds their sword in 1 hand and slashes at their opponent, but instead of actually attacking, pulls off a feint. The released sword falls to the user's other paw, which is grabbed to create a genuine slash. Samidare catches the opponent off-baby-sit for attempting to dodge the feint attack.[2] [3]
This technique was first seen used past Takeshi Yamamoto unsuccessfully against Squalo, who claimed to know all the Shigure Soen Ryu techniques. Yamamoto also used Samidare confronting Genkishi. Takeshi does a slicing attack while switching the katana between the swing, changing the trajectory and the timing freely..
6th form [ ]

7th form: Shibuki Ame [ ]
Shibuki Ame (繁吹き雨, Shibuki Ame ?, lit. Splashing rain) is the defensive seventh form of Shigure Soen Ryu. The user holds their blade backwards and spins it to create a whirlwind-like shield. It is the only class used where the sword is reversed, the sharp edge pointing behind the user.[2] [7]

8th form: Shinotsuku Ame [ ]
Shinotsuku Ame (篠突く雨, Shinotsuku Ame ?, lit. Pouring rain; pelting pelting) is the offensive eighth form of the Shigure Soen Ryu. The user charges and so slashes the sword at the opponent. The bract of the sword cuts around the user, forming a cross slash.[eight] [seven]
This set on was originally created by Tsuyoshi Yamamoto while saving his friend in the eye of a typhoon. 9th form: Utsushi Ame [ ]
Utsushi Ame (うつし雨, Utsushi Ame ?, lit. Duplicate rain) is the offensive ninth grade of the Shigure Soen Ryu. It was created past Takeshi Yamamoto. The user slashes upward to create a wave of reflective water, acting equally a mirror. When the target is distracted by the reflection, the user strikes from the opposing management.[eight] [10]
Yamamoto created this technique during the Rain Ring Battle against Superbia Squalo. He also used this against Genkishi and Reborn. Shinotsuku Ame, however, was countered past Reborn during his Arcobaleno Trial. This attack has a strong resemblance to Squalo's Scontro di Squalo, possibly being Yamamoto's source of inspiration for this grade.

Sadachi: Kirisame [ ]
Sadachi: Kirisame (左太刀霧雨, Sadachi Kirisame ?, lit. Left-hand sword drizzle) is the first part of the special twelfth class of the Shigure Soen Ryu.
Takeshi uses the Ziro left sword of his Cambio Forma to attack with multiple compressed airwaves which can "Sniff" out an enemy, making this perfect against illusionists.
With Vongola Gear, he uses his left blade, Ziro, to fire multiple compressed airwaves which can cut the enemy into pieces. Even if the attack doesn't hit, it will use the left blade Ziro'southward ability to "sniff" out the enemy and catch its smell by touching the air, allowing information technology to instantly recall what the opponent smells similar. It is synchronized with Yamamoto, allowing him to run across what he's slashed through smell, thus making it impossible for the opponent to hibernate. Therefore, this is the perfect technique confronting illusionists.[13]
This technique was first used against the first generation Vongola Mist Guardian, Demon Spade.
This grade has a stiff resemblance to Genkishi'due south Danza Spettrale Spada. Information technology is quite possible that this is where Takeshi conjured the idea of this form from.
Udachi: Kirisame [ ]

Udachi: Kirisame (左太刀斬雨, Udachi Kirisame ?, lit. Right-hand sword sharp rain) is the 2nd function of the special 12th grade of the Shigure Soen Ryu. Trivia [ ]
- An alternative 8th class, Fall Rain, was created by Tsuyoshi's fellow apprentice.
- Both the tenth and 11th forms accept a strong resemblance to Squalo's Zanna di Squalo and Scontro di Squalo. It is possible Takeshi used these attacks while developing his own forms.
- Future Takeshi could perform many of Squalo's techniques, and while the nowadays Takeshi has non been seen straight using the techniques, he has been seen using them within Shigure Soen. For example, when he strikes Genkishi with a class, he unleashes Attacco di Squalo at the same time.
- Takeshi's two forms for the 12th grade, which involve using the left blade and right blade separately, are both very similar to Genkishi's Danza Spettro Spada.
- Hereafter Yamamoto used a Rain-attribute Box Weapon called H2o that was similar to the 2nd form.
